MISASKIM CORP SMS TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Program Description

Misaskim Dispatch operates a volunteer notification and coordination messaging program. Registered volunteers receive text messages containing dispatch requests, equipment coordination details, service-area alerts, and time-sensitive availability requests. Volunteers may reply to accept or decline a dispatch. This is a two-way conversational messaging program. This program is operated by Misaskim, a nonprofit bereavement services organization.

2. How to Opt In

You opt in by checking the SMS consent box on our volunteer text message sign-up form at misaskimdispatch.com/sms-opt-in, by checking the SMS consent box when completing your volunteer registration, or by replying to a message from our dispatch number confirming you wish to receive alerts. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of volunteering or of receiving any service from Misaskim.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on dispatch activity in your service area. Volunteers typically receive between 1 and 15 messages per week, though volume may be higher during periods of increased need.

4. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Misaskim does not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier's standard rates apply based on your plan.

5. How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. To resume receiving messages, reply START or re-enroll through your volunteer profile.

6. How to Get Help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at [email protected] or (718) 436-5437.
