Misaskim hosted a meeting with New York City Councilwoman Inna Vernikov, continuing the organization's ongoing effort to build strong working relationships with elected officials across the city.

The meeting brought together Misaskim's leadership and Councilwoman Vernikov to discuss how city government and the organization can better coordinate when community members are in need. The goal is to ensure that when a family is in crisis, the relationships and protocols are already in place so that help arrives quickly and with the sensitivity the situation demands.
