When the new school year looms, the to-do list seems endless; especially for almanos who juggle their entire family's needs single-handedly.

This year, Project Yedid sent out 834 packages of school supplies to yesomim in the tri-state area. Each box was personalized to the child's age and grade. Each box was chock-full of up-to-date, shiny, new school supplies. It contained everything the child needed to get a great start in the classroom.

The school supplies were a tremendous help for the almanos, crossing a big thing off their long list. It also injected freshness and excitement in the children, helping them start the new year on the right foot.
