There are families who wonder: If Totty isn't here, why celebrate?

No Totty to light the menorah. No Totty to share the Chanukah story. No Totty to give Chanukah gelt.

In a heartwarming gesture, Project Yedid delivered a personalized package to each bereaved family's door. Chanukah gelt for each child, a colorful array of toys and CDs, and a packet of dollar bills bearing the blessings of ten Gedolei Yisrael.

We can't bring their Totty back, but we were able to sweeten the moment, warming their hearts and their homes.
